The PBL lesson plan that I created promotes creative thinking and planning. Students have to research different kinds of graphs and choose which graph is most accurate for their data collection. It engages students on the real world issues that they choose to study about.

The lesson plan that goes along with the rubric badge enables students to be creative and create a review test for the class. Students will collaborate within their groups to address the important skills in their assigned chapter and design a practice test that reviews the necessary skills.

The Production Badge was created by incorporating digital tools and resources from the class. The intent was to enable students to apply the skills learned fro the video to real life. The activity that the video goes along with is designed to be used for all learners.

Through Popplet, a resource used in the course, I was able to create a tool that students can use to learn and study linear equations. The concept map is not only illustrative but informational as well. It is a great resource for students to use because it is very organized and easy to follow.

The Smore Badge is a great way to get messages out to parents and teachers in a newsletter type way. Linked to my smores page is QR code. That way if parents or students were to scan it, they would be able to view it online. This artifact is ideal for the first week of school and is a great way to introduce yourself to your class.

I was able to learn how to use a Twitter chat through my w200 course. Twitter chats are organized and planned discussions that partake online over Twitter. Through this experience, I was able to communicate to other students in the course and discuss relevant ideas about digital citizenship and other topics in the classroom.

This lesson plan was created to not only teach algebra 1 skills to students, but to spread awareness about cyberbullying. The activity is designed so that students can answer math equations and the answers to the math equations fill in the blanks to the cyberbullying statistics on the infographics.

The infographics is a great way to display information. It is a very organized way to spread ideas and statistics through pictures, colors, fonts, and backgrounds. Through the infographic, students are abel to gain better understanding of relevant issues in the world and advocate responsible interactions related through social media.

Teachers continuously improve their professional practice, model lifelong learning, and exhibit leadership in their school and professional community by promoting and demonstrating the effective use of digital tools and resources.

For this class, I have created a professional Twitter which is targeted towards future students, parents, colleagues, and other professionals. If used properly, I will be able to use my Twitter to share new and professional ideas as well as collect new ideas from other participants on Twitter. This is a great way to keep up with the new professional social media pages.
